It has been seven years since Dr. Dana Andrews began his chiropractic practice in Manchester, and he is celebrating in a big way.

When he opened his practice on his 26th birthday—Feb. 17, 2007—Dr. Dana had a dream of bringing good health to the Manchester community through chiropractic care, and over the years that dream has not faded, but grown.

“You have to maintain proper function of the spine and nervous system to obtain optimal health,” he says. “And that can only have a positive effect on the rest of your life.”

Good health is not just a matter of good luck, according to Dr. Dana. Regular chiropractic adjustments can help keep the body in focus, and restore function to areas of the body that could be prone to disease.

“Focus on your body, not on a disease,” he adds. “No drug you will ever take will ever make you healthier; it will only buy you time at the level of health you already have. Your body can heal itself if it is given the proper tools.”

He is a firm believer that people’s choices in life can take them closer to good health … or farther away. “I really encourage a healthy eating as part of an overall healthy lifestyle,” he says. “After all, it only makes sense—if you put better fuel in your car, you’ll get better performance. If you put better fuel in your body, it will perform better, too.”

He encourages patients to lead an active lifestyle, and yet to also take time for stress-free relaxation to maintain that optimal health. And one way that he has made that possible to the community through his practice, is to add the services of a massage therapist, Barb Maisano, to the office.

“Barb has helped a lot of people in the community as well,” he says. “It’s a great complement to my practice.”

Dr. Dana loves his career and his patients. The fact that he goes around town with a huge smile on his face is a reflection of not only his own (and his family’s) good health, but pride in knowing he is truly making a difference in his adopted community.

Andrews Family Chiropractic also has an active sports clientele . A special offer extended to high school athletes has helped to build the practice among Manchester’s younger citizens and also helped those students who were really need chiropractic care.

In addition to building his practice, Dr. Dana and his wife Sarah have also been busy building their family. Their three young sons, Zack 4, Max 2 ½, and Tyler, 1, keep them on the run, both literally and figuratively.

Dr. Dana wants to thank his patients for their support and referrals over the years. He wants to continue to grow and serve the Manchester community. His dream of great health for everyone isn’t fulfilled yet, but he believes it could be. So, on Monday, Feb. 17, in celebration of the seventh anniversary of the practice, in addition to serving refreshments all day, he will be offering special incentives to get more people involved in chiropractic care. A $7 new-patient workup (a $200 value) for the first seven new patients of the day could start your week off right! And for those who aren’t early risers, he’ll offer the same $7 adjustment to the first seven patients in the afternoon. On the same day, the first seven massages from Barb Maisano will cost only $17. In addition, for the entire month of February, he is offering all new patients a complete work-up for just $70!

Andrews Chiropractic is located behind the post office at 102 Clinton Street (look for the bright orange sign). Dr. Andrews accepts most major health insurance plans, many of which cover chiropractic care. He also accepts cash, checks, credit cards and Care Credit payment plans.
