On Saturday, April 5, State Senate candidate Shari Pollesch came to Manchester to meet the voters.  Although a chilly day, several citizens stopped by to meet her and find out what she was most committed to improving in our state.  Pollesch feels that people come before special interests, children’s education before political agendas, seniors before corporate tax cuts and clean environment before big energy profits.

Bridgewater and Manchester Townships are currently represented by Randy Richardville in the Michigan Senate District 17.  Freedom and Sharon Townships are currently represented by District 18's State Senator Rebekah Warren.  These four townships, along with other Western Washtenaw Townships will now be joining Livingston County to vote for their State Senator in District 22.  Joe Hune is the current State Senator in this district.

Ms. Pollesch will return to the Manchester area but if you would like to learn more about her or if you would like to be notified of meet ups you can go to her website or visit her Facebook page. Questions can be directed to Shari by email at Shari@voteforshari.com or by calling 810-224-0560.
