The end of the school year in sight means the Manchester District Library is gearing up for another summer of fun. This year’s Summer Reading program will kick-off June 13th at 2pm in the Village Room. Zeemo the Yo-Yo Man will be on hand to entertain with his skillful yo-yo tricks and zany humor. Sign-up for summer reading begins an hour earlier at 1pm.

The Summer Reading program offers rewards for readers of all ages. Kids record the minutes they read and if they meet their goal, they turn them in each week to collect a prize and be entered in the Saturday drawings. Teens and adults can read books of their choice, and complete book reviews to receive prizes and be entered in a drawing. Everyone can participate, you do not need to live in the district or have a library card.

This is just the beginning! More fun programs and activities are scheduled throughout the summer. Visit the Manchester Library to pick up a summer reading calendar.

The Manchester District Library is located at 912 City Rd. Visit their website or call 734.428.8045 for more information.
