Have you ever wanted to get up close and sit in the driver’s seat of a fire engine and pretend you’re on the way to put out a fire? How about an ambulance? Or sit in a police car? A BIG Tow Truck? Your opportunity is coming up at the 70th Manchester Community Fair.

Manchester Community Fair is having a Touch an Emergency Vehicle on Saturday June 21, 2014 from 2 to 5 pm. There will be fire equipment from the Manchester Township Fire Department, Huron Valley Ambulance, Washtenaw County Sheriff with K9 unit, American Red Cross, Manchester Towing's Big Tow Truck and much more with their equipment. Fair patrons will be able to climb in the vehicles and participate in demonstrations.

The Manchester Township Fire Department will have their personal protection gear and hoses on display and available for kids to try on and handle. There will be live demonstrations that the kids and adults can participate in. Through these fun activities you will learn fire safety without realizing you are learning it!

Manchester Community Fair is located at the corner of Wolverine and Vernon Streets in Manchester. For more information please contact the Manchester Community Fair, 734-428-8429 or through email at  manchesterfair@yahoo.com. You can also visit them on Facebook HERE or their website HERE
