SHERIFF’S OFFICE SUMMARY for MANCHESTER VILLAGE

FOR: July 18th-July 24th, 2014

There were 27 Calls for Service in Manchester Village

  • Deputies responded to a Burglary Alarm in the 400blk of City Rd. The location was secure and no criminal activity had occurred.
  • A crash was reported at Main St./Union St. A deputy responded and found that a single vehicle had left the travel lane, contacted a parked car, damaged a light pole and a fire hydrant before coming to a stop. Upon investigation it was determined that alcohol was not a factor. The report has been made available to Village officials to assist in the recovery of the costs of repairs.
  • A Deputy and medical personnel responded to the Village Offices building to assist a parent with a child having a brief medical episode.

The Washtenaw County Sheriff’s Office Marine Safety Division would like to remind people to ALWAYS WEAR YOUR PFD (personal flotation device). Your safety is our concern. The Marine Safety Division would also like to remind all kayakers and canoeists that minimally a Type-IV flotation device (throwable) is required on those vessels when in use.
