Manchester Civic Club's September 2014 Student of the Month

September's Manchester Civic Club student of the month is Josephine Rickert, daughter of Doug and Diane Rickert of Manchester.

Josephine is a senior at Manchester High School, where she mentors freshmen, plays varsity softball, and serves on Student Council.   A member of the National Honor Society, she tutors at the school and has a 3.810 cumulative GPA that has placed her on the Honor Roll throughout high school.

Outside of school, Josephine volunteers for the greater community by participating in the Manchester Fish Fry, Salvation Army Bell Ringing, and Ann Arbor Food Gathers.

In the fall of 2015, Josephine hopes to attend Western Michigan University to study design.
