Last Thursday, Oct. 8,  a gorgeous autumn day, saw the last farmers market of the season. Vendors' fall offerings including apples, pumpkins, gourds, and root vegetables in addition to baked goods and crafts. Kids had the opportunity to pet and feed local llamas. The farmers market held a big candy giveaway and rewarded farmers market shoppers $5 in farmers market bucks for filling out a survey. Shoppers could make their own fall wreaths to take home. And the Manchester District Library booth handed out "How to Eat a Pumpkin" recipe booklets assembled by Ruth VanBogelen representing the Community Garden Committee.
