The Washtenaw County Sheriff’s Office released the name of their officer who died Friday morning in Bridgewater Township. WCSO Corrections Officer Chad Hilborn, age 33, from Clinton, was on his way home from work shortly after 7:30 a.m. when the fatal multi-car crash occurred near the corner of Michigan Avenue and Arkona Road.

Chad had worked for the Washtenaw County Sheriff’s Office since 2011. He leaves behind his wife, who is a Washtenaw Metro Dispatch employee and their two young daughters. A Go Fund Me page has been established for the family. You can donate by visiting the page HERE.
