Seven 10th graders modeled 21 prom dresses at the first ever Prom Dress Fashion Show and Afternoon Tea on Saturday.

On Saturday, March 14th, the Manchester Ladies Society hosted the First Annual Prom Dress Fashion Show and Tea Party, as a preview to the Prom Dress Boutique. The Boutique will be held this weekend, Saturday, March 21, and Sunday, March 22 from 1:00-4:00 each day. Many women from the community came out to support both the models, and the Ladies Society.

The models were seven Manchester High School 10th graders from Senior Girl Scout Troop 41545. The girls who modeled were Amelia Herron, Emma Harris, Kelsey Edwards, Ryan Harris, Alexa Moore, Abbey Burch, and Olivia Mrocko, and they modeled three dresses each. This year, the dresses modeled were from a combination of all the dresses donated so far, this year and last year. In future years, the dresses to be modeled will be from new donations.

The Ladies Society Secretary, Sara Swanson, took photographs of the event and brewed specialty teas, while Theresa Herron, a member of the group, was the MC. Ladies Society President Jessica Bushaw (of Classic Catering/ Frank's Place) created the delicious food, and Danielle Muntz, the Society’s Treasurer, was the brain behind the beautiful decorations.
