Highlights of the 2015 CRC Recognition Banquet
Last Friday night, Chelsea Hospital's Dining room was packed with Manchester's volunteers and community groups. The Community Resource Center's Volunteer Recognition Banquet was a sold-out success with a theme of "Manchester Bridge" and Hollie Kolcz and Aaron Helber serving as masters of ceremonies.
After a rousing game of Manchester Bridge (it's a lot like poker) ending in a Manchester bridge trivia contest, dinner, dessert and the presentation of volunteer recognition awards (click HERE for list of volunteers recognized), the special awards were announced. William J. "Bill" Schwab and Richard D "Scottie" Scott were awarded the D. Little/B. Rees Posthumous Award. Mary Fielder was awarded the Service to Youth Award. Robert "Bob" Miller was awarded the Star Award. Carolyn Dyer was awarded the Commitment to Community Award. And David W Roberts was awarded the Claire Reck Volunteer of the Year Award.
