Mens Club Ice Skating Party CANCELED for 2016

The Manchester Men Club announced this week that they would be canceling the 2016 Ice Skating Party in Chi Bro Park, originally scheduled for January 23 and rescheduled for February 6 because of the ongoing warm weather. Karl Racenis of the Manchester Mens Club stated that it takes at least two weeks of continually below-freezing weather to flood and freeze the ice rink and there is no period of two weeks of below freezing temperatures in the forecast.

Two years ago rink freezing benefitted from the polar vortex although skating conditions at the actual party were chilly!
