The "orange building" is one step closer to becoming Over the Edge Pizza."

Representatives from Over the Edge Pizza, including owner Chris Moyle, were present at the Feb. 15th Village Council meeting to have their site design for the "orange building" located on the corner of M-52 and Main Street reviewed as part of the Manchester's Historic District. Village planners Carlisle Wortman had also reviewed the plans prior to the meeting. The Historic District was developed in 2007 to preserve historic design of buildings built prior to 1940, and this building was constructed in approximately 1945.

John Enos, planner, indicated that "based on the proposed exterior design changes to 230 East Main, the new use will enhance the existing district character ... (T)he plan reflects an understanding of the Village and is compatible with the distinctive character of the district setting and surrounding buildings."

Following presentations by Moyle and architect Leo Babcock, Village Council gave its approval for site design and site planning to continue.
