Here is a list of Holy Week and Easter Services at St. Mary Roman Catholic Church of Manchester, located at 210 West Main Street:

PALM SUNDAY, March 20

  • Masses at 8:30 am and 10:30 am (with Vigil Mass Saturday evening, March 19 at 5:00 pm)
  • Outdoor procession with palms at the beginning of 10:30 am Mass (weather permitting)
  • Youth Group presents “Living Stations of the Cross” following 10:30 am Mass

HOLY THURSDAY, March 24

  • 7:30 pm – The Mass of the Lord’s Supper begins at 7:30 pm.
  • Following Mass on Holy Thursday, you are invited to “Watch and Pray with Jesus,” recalling his Agony in the Garden. This time of prayer will begin immediately following Holy Thursday Mass and continue until 11:00 pm.
  • 11:00 pm – Holy Thursday night, we will gather to pray Night Prayer (Compline) from the Liturgy of the Hours.

GOOD FRIDAY, March 25

  • 12:00 noon – Stations of the Cross (the Via Dolorosa)
  • 3:00 pm – Service for Friday of the Passion of the Lord

HOLY SATURDAY, March 26

  • 1:00 pm – Blessing of the Easter Food Baskets

EASTER VIGIL, March 26

  • 9:00 pm – Mass for “The Easter Vigil in the Holy Night” beginning after sundown

EASTER SUNDAY MORNING, March 27

  • 8:30 am and 10:30 am – Easter Morning Masses of the Resurrection of the Lord
  • Easter Egg Hunt for the children following 10:30 am Mass on the church lawn
