Decrease Font Size Increase Font Size Text Size Print This Page

Area residents concerned about Rover Pipeline will be meeting this Thursday, March 31, 2016 at 5 pm at a private residence at 642 Waldstrasse. Everyone who has concerns or questions is invited to attend. A group from Manchester Township, members of C.R.O.W. from Freedom Township and a group from Pinckney are expected to attend as well as Manchester resident Barb Fuller, who is running for State House of Representatives in the 52nd District.

The Rover Pipeline is an interstate natural gas pipeline that will transport 3.25 billion cubic feet per day of natural gas through approximately 713 miles of underground pipeline through Pennsylvania, West Virginia, Ohio, and Michigan. It will be 42" in diameter in Michigan. Rover’s intention is to begin construction in the third quarter of 2016 and finish construction to Michigan and beyond by mid-2017.
