The Student of the Month for April is Alexandrea Crouch, a senior at Manchester High School and the daughter of Michael and Jennifer Crouch of Manchester.

During her high school career here at Manchester, Alexandrea has been involved with Student Council and DECA. She is also a member of the National Honor Society, the Varsity Quiz Bowl team and serves as a mentor to the freshman class. Alexandrea is member of the  high school band and the Flag Corps, serving as the captain this year; she also played soccer as a freshman, sophomore and junior.

In addition to her high school activities, Alexandrea is active in her youth group, helping at Vacation Bible School and the food pantry. Last summer she represented MHS at Girls State sponsored by the Legion Auxiliary.

Alexandrea has a cumulative GPA of 4.067. After high school she plans to study Business in the Honors College at Purdue University.

The Manchester Civic Club, in collaboration with the faculty and administration of Manchester High School, selects the Student of the Month from applicants based on academic achievement, leadership/participation in extra-curricular activities, and all around service to the school and community.
