The Manchester United Methodist Women of the Manchester United Methodist Church, 501 Ann Arbor Street, are hosting their annual Salad Smorgasbord on Wednesday, May 4. There will be one serving only at noon. Cost is $10 per personReservations are necessary; please call Jody at 734-428-8495 or Jean at 734-428-8585 to make your reservation. Only 140 reservations can be accepted.

The luncheon will feature a variety of 60+ salads, from American potato salad, hot German potato salad, chicken salad, pastas, jello and other dessert salads, veggie, quinoa, kale, bean, deviled eggs, shrimp salad, to tossed salads. Rolls and beverages are included.

"This is not a formal event," said spokeswoman Sandy Smith. "Although some folks, such as the Red Hatters, do come all decked out, others dress more casually. We have a group from Grass Lake (about 30 men and women) who call in March every year to make sure they get reservations."

If you haven’t ever attended the Salad Smorgasbord, mark this date on your calendar, call for your reservations for this fun event featuring a colorful and wide variety of delicious salads – there will be something for everyone’s taste.
