Megan Seames Named May Student of the Month

The Student of the Month for May is Megan Seames. She is currently a senior at Manchester High School and is the daughter of Bridget and Terry Seames of Manchester.

During her high school career at Manchester High School, Megan has been involved with the Drama Club, the National Honor Society, and the Mentor program, mentoring to the freshmen class,. She also played soccer as a freshman and junior.

In addition to her high school activities, Megan is active in volunteering for SASHA farm, Huron Valley Humane Society’s Walk and Wag fundraiser, and helps at the NHS food drive and the ringing of the bells for the Salvation Army.

Megan has a cumulative GPA of 4.150 and has been on the honor roll all during her high school career. In the fall, she will attend Michigan State University to earn a bachelor’s degree in Animal Science.

The Manchester Civic Club, in collaboration with the faculty and administration of Manchester High School, selects the Student of the Month from applicants based on academic achievement, leadership/participation in extra-curricular activities, and all around service to the school and community.
