Obituary: Anthony Jude Petrino

Anthony Jude Petrino, 1954 - 2016

Anthony Jude Petrino, age 61 of Manchester passed away suddenly on June 6, 2016 while visiting family in Fredricksburg, Texas. He was born on September 17th, 1954 in Cambridge, Massachusetts the son of Angelo and Tina Petrino. He married Carol Hone on September 6, 1975 in Chelsea, MI and she preceded him in death.

Anthony joined the U.S. Air Force on June 26, 1972 and served actively for over 9 years. Anthony and Carol moved to Manchester in 1981 to raise their two children. They lived in the same home for 35 years. Anthony was very involved in the lives of his children and grandchildren and loved sharing the farm with them when they came to visit. He enjoyed hunting, cards, video games, and spending time with his dog, Roxy. He retired January 1, 2016 and was looking forward to having his own business and the time to travel with family.

Anthony is survived by his children: Carrie (Donnie) Weaver and Angelo Petrino; mother: Tina Petrino; grandchildren: Ryan Weaver, Benjamin and Jude Ferris, Danniella Petrino, Ruger Tekulve; siblings: Donna (David) Murray, Susan (Larry) Centola, Joann Rios; brother-in-law: Roger Hone; sister-in-law: Connie Steffens; many nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles. In addition to his wife, Anthony was preceded in death by his father Angelo Petrino; in-laws: Raymond and Suzanne Hone.

Anthony’s family will greet friends on Friday, June 17, 2016 beginning at 10am until the time of Mass at 11am at St. Mary Roman Catholic Church with Father Bosco Padamattummal as Celebrant.
