Manchester Farmers have a chance to win $2,500 for a local Manchester Charity of their choice. The Monsanto Fund, the philanthropic arm of the Monsanto Company, is sponsoring the annual America’s Farmers Grow Communities program in order to strengthen farming communities across America. Enrollment is open to farmers from now until November 30th. The Monsanto Fund plans to award $3 million to nonprofits across rural America. All of the money will be directed by farmers.

Farmers can enroll online, or call toll-free at 877-267-3332. The winning farmers will be announced in January 2017. For official rules and a complete list of eligibility requirements, please visit here.

Since 2010, more than 8,000 organizations across rural America have received Grow Communities donations. Grow Communities is a part of the America’s Famers initiative. To learn more about all of the America’s Farmers programs visit here.
