Wilber and Doris Lamb's 70-year marriage profiled in Brooklyn Exponent

On Dec. 9th, 2016 the Brooklyn Exponent ran a profile of Manchester couple celebrating their 70th anniversary, Wilber Lamb and Doris (Parr) Lamb. The Lambs currently live in Brooklyn.

Here is an excerpt:

"Wilber E. and Doris M. (Parr) Lamb, now of Brooklyn, married their fortunes together Nov. 30, 1946, in a candle light ceremony at the home of the bride’s parents, Lowell and Alta (Grossman) Parr in Manchester, by Rev. John Bunney of the Methodist Church.

Both Wilber and Doris graduated from the Manchester High School class of 1942. Wilber worked at the Ypsilanti Bomber Plant for six months, then he and his twin brother, Walter, entered the Army Air Force, where he served a tour of duty in Brazil..."
