St Thomas to hold 175th anniversary Sunday service

St Thomas Lutheran Church is inviting everyone to join them in celebrating their 175th anniversary at an outdoor service (weather permitting) beginning at 10 am on Sunday, September 17th. The church is located at 10001 W. Ellsworth Rd. in Freedom Township.

Former pastor, Daniel Mattson, who served from 1968-1974, will be preaching. After the service they will have a free potluck meal. In addition they will have a hand-crank food mill and various antique farm equipment on display as well as pictures of their history, a display of antiques, and games for kids and adults.
