Manchester High School is again pleased to host high school students from Varel, Germany for 3 weeks this Fall. The students are from Lothar Meyer Gymnasium and will be in Manchester from September 21 through October 11. While here, they are staying with local families, learning the similarities and differences from their lives in Northern Germany. This cultural exchange is sponsored by the German American Partnership Program and is done in conjunction with Jackson High School. The students have been attending high school classes with their host student and have been able to go on several field trips, including The Henry Ford Museum, a local fruit farm, a tour of the state capitol in Lansing and a day trip to Chicago. The students have also had free time to spend with their host families and have been able to experience going up Up North, to Cedar Point, to a haunted house and to a rodeo in Hillsdale.

The smaller group photo are the Manchester only kids - Mitchell Ernst, Konstanin Hessler, Aiden White, Lykke Abken, Chiara Polifke, Claudia Walz, Sadie White, Selina Wilhelmi, Montel Beavers and Bendix Schutz. Alivya Hock is missing from the photo.
