Library to hold BIG 2-day book sale

Manchester District Library's Friends group will be holding a BIG two-day book sale on Saturday, November 11th from 10 am to 2 pm and Sunday, November 12th from 1 to 5 pm. Although the Friends run an ongoing book sale within the library on special shelves, the community has been so generous in their donations that the Friends now have too many books to store. The Friends are working with the Manchester District Library to hold a large two day book sale in the Village Room below the library. They have high quality books for all ages and interests. Funds raised through the book sales will be given to the library for special programs and supplies. Past uses have included funding the summer reading program, funding the purchase of the movie projector, and the purchase of Legos for the weekly Lego building program.

Also, be sure to visit the Friends of the Manchester District Library table by the Carmel apple event and pumpkin bowling in Wurster park during Trick-Or-Treating for an edible treat, a readable treat and a bookmark!
