The Tecumseh Pops Orchestra & Community Chorus will present their Annual Holiday Concert, Christmas Memories, at 4 pm, Sunday, December 3, at the Tecumseh Center for the Arts (TCA), 400 N. Maumee in Tecumseh. This fantastic group of instrumental musicians and vocalists includes Manchester residents Michelle Senkewitz, Susan Armour, and Paula Denton, and will be led by Pops Orchestra Director Greg Smith, and Community Chorus Director, Hannah Sparrow.

As a special treat before the show, Santa Claus himself will be available in the lobby of the TCA for photos starting at 3pm, and again at intermission. Professional photographer Gregg Brindamour will be on hand to take your photo with Santa at that time. Cost is only $5 for a 5” x 7” photo, and Mr. Brindamour will have other options available as well.

The concert will feature a variety of wonderful holiday music to enjoy. Well-known tunes, such as “Sleigh Ride,” “Carol of The Bells,” “Silent Night,” and “Santa Claus is Coming to Town,” along with others are featured in Christmas Memories. As a special treat, the Orchestra and Chorus will combine to share an Irving Berlin medley, which includes the songs, “White Christmas,” “Happy Holidays,” and “I’ve Got My Love to Keep Me Warm.” The concert will conclude with everyone’s favorite traditional song, “Hallelujah Chorus” from Handel’s Messiah.

Tickets are priced at only $12 for adults, and $10 for seniors & youth. They can be purchased in person, or by phone, noon – 5 pm, Tuesday thru Friday, at the Tecumseh Center for the Arts, 400 N. Maumee, 517-423-6617, online at www.theTCA.org, or at the TCA box office one hour before the show. The Tecumseh Pops & Community Chorus invite you to take time out of the hustle and bustle of this busy time of year, and join your friends and neighbors for an afternoon of great holiday music!
