Still time to provide community input for school superintendent search

Were you unable to attend Manchester Community Schools superintendent search community input meeting last Monday evening? The Schools have set up an email account to receive your thoughts and priorities when it comes to hiring a new superintendent: mcssupersearch@mcs.k12.mi.us. This email address will only be active through Dec. 20th, at which time the search firm will consolidate collected input into printed material to use in the search process. Interim superintendent Brad Hamilton stressed that this email address is not for personal attacks or personal comments, only for community input to be considered in the superintendent search.

The search firm is on track to find a full-time superintendent replacement by spring, for former superintendent Cherie Vannatter. Vannatter left for another job last summer.
