Excitement for the walk to school group!

Parents, teachers, community volunteers, and kids alike all enjoyed the hot cocoa!

Last Wednesday was the Hot Cocoa Run, where walkers were rewarded with cups of hot cocoa, marshmallows, and candy canes when they reached Klager at the top of the hill! About 65 people enjoyed the treats, including teachers, parents, and other volunteers.

This will be another exciting week for the most reliable walkers, as they can reach the reward incentives for walking to school five times. A variety of prizes will be offered to those who reach 5 days, 10 days, 20 days, and more milestones!

Keep on walking, and join us Monday and Wednesday--7:30 am at Wurster Park or the old middle school, 7:45 am at Chi-Bro Park; or Friday 7:45 am at Chi-Bro.

A great crowd of walkers gathered at Chi-Bro Park on Wednesday morning to head up the hill for some hot cocoa!
