Local fairs team up this year for “Around the Fairs in 55 Days”

The Manchester Community Fair, Chelsea Community Fair, and Saline Community Fair have teamed up this year to offer a new event for 2018 – Around the Fairs in 55 Days. Visit at least two of these three fairs in Washtenaw County and turn in your passport at the Chelsea Community Fair or Saline Community Fair, and you will be entered into a drawing for prizes. There will be a drawing for those who visit two fairs, and a separate drawing for those who visit all three fairs. The drawings will be held on Sunday, September 3, 2018 at 8:00 PM at the Saline Community Fair. The passports will be available at the entry gates of the Manchester Community Fair or the Chelsea Community Fair and will be available on each fairs’ websites to download.

The Manchester Community Fair will run from July 10th – 14th at Alumni Field, located at 220 South Vernon Street here in the village. The Chelsea Community Fair will run from August 21st – 25th at the Chelsea Community Fairgrounds, located at 20501 Old US-12 Highway. The Saline Community Fair will run from August 29th – September 3rd at the Washtenaw Farm Council Grounds located at 5055 Ann Arbor Saline Rd., Ann Arbor MI

Each of the fairs will feature many wonderful events from animal shows, carnivals, queen contests, demolition derbies, tractor pulls, children’s day events, and special events for ladies and seniors. To see what each fair has planned for this summer you can visit their websites or Facebook pages:
