Enjoy a better life with kidney disease in no-cost virtual workshop series

If you are living with chronic kidney disease or you care for someone with kidney disease, consider taking an upcoming Kidney Personal Action Toward Health (KPATH) workshop presented by the National Kidney Foundation of Michigan (NKFM). Offered at no cost to participants, the eight-week online workshop features a facilitator working with a small group to explore skills and tools to help people with kidney disease and their loved ones improve the quality of their lives. Sessions include controlling symptoms, decreasing stress, advocating for yourself, communicating with health providers, and more. The PATH workshops are open to all residents in Michigan. Participate from home — no transportation needed! Access either of the following PATH workshops with a computer, tablet or smartphone:
Kidney PATH
Mondays, 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
Information Session – Monday, June 21, 2021, 10:00 a.m.
Classes start on Monday, June 28, but new participants can join through Monday, July 12.
Eight sessions total: June 28; July 12 to 26 (no session on July 5); August 2 to 23
Kidney PATH
Thursdays, 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
Information Session – Thursday, June 24, 2021, 6:00 p.m.
Classes start on Thursday, July 1, but new participants can join through Thursday, July 8.
Eight sessions total: July 1 to 29; August 2 to 19
