An Afternoon of Baroque Delights!
Cultural Art String’s third benefit concert this season, An Afternoon of Baroque Delights! will feature local musicians joining forces to perform pieces such as Bach’s Brandenburg Concerto No. 5 and Vivaldi Concerto for Two Cellos, works by Telemann, Corelli, and more, and will include special guest Robin Hasenpgflug on Cello. Cultural Art Strings provides string music education for the youth of Manchester. Proceeds from the concert will be used to purchase supplies, provide scholarships, and develop their programs.
The concert will be this Saturday, April 26, at 4pm at Sharon United Methodist Church located at 19980 Pleasant Lake Road. Reserved seating is $20. General seating is $10. Children under 12 accompanied by an adult are FREE. There will be a reception by Chef Jay Jacobs following the concert. Click HERE to purchase tickets.
Local Musicians featured include Daniel Winnick, violin, Colleen Wang, violin, Carolyn Lukancic, violin, Lisa Tarzia, violin, Carol Palms, viola, Eric Amidon, cello, Aileen Rohwer, cello, Robert Rohwer, bass, Corrine Schat, recorder, Betty Cummings, recorder and Martha Folts, harpsichord.
