Fiddler on the Roof…Bravo! Bravo!
After months of hard work, Manchester High School’s Drama Club held three performances of Fiddler on the Roof this weekend. The shows were phenomenal. Bravo to the cast, crew, volunteers, and all the people that pulled this show together. It was truly wonderful.

The daughter, the daughter! Tradition!
Upon hearing that a match has been made for her, Tzeitel (Olivia Franklin) begs her father to allow her to marry the poor tailor, Motel, instead of the wealthy butcher, Lazar Wolf.
Fruhma-Sarah (played by Annie Tamagne), the butcher’s previous wife, visits Tevye and Golde in one of Tevye’s dreams to tell them that she does not want their oldest daughter to marry her husband – or so Tevye says after he has given permission for both men to marry his daughter. butcher – or so Tevye says after he has given permission for both men to marry his daughter.
Tzeitel and Motel are married under a canopy as tradition requires.
