All Proceeds willbenefit the Sharon UMC Haiti Mission Team. What to Bring: Oldappliances: washing machines, dryers, ovens…, wrought ironwork, metalfencing and posts, old metal light fixtures, metal car parts or pieces,old metal patio sets, metal roofing, broken farm equipment and MORE,any metal you can part with.

Where: Village Room (under the library) 912 City Road, Manchester MIDescription: Manchester Ladies Society’s mission is to support the women and children of Manchester by supporting existing charities and organizations, connecting women with community resources and creating new ones where gaps exist. 10am – 5pm Kiwanis Canoe Race
Where: River Raisin, Manchester, MIDescription: 48th Annual Amateur Canoe Race on the River Raisin sponsored by the Manchester Kiwanis. Registration starts at 10 a.m., race begins at noon, at Fellow Bridge on Sharon Valley Rd.
5pm – 7pm MSBOA District 8 Middle School Honors Band
Where: Manchester High School, Dutch Drive, Manchester, MIDescription: Contact Jared Throneberry; This performance is at 5:00PM and will include Megan Jacobs and Katie Wakevainen. Both of these students will be in the percussion section.
