Quiz Bowl Teams Heading to National Championship in Chicago

The Manchester High School Quiz Bowl teams have had an outstanding year.  The Junior Varsity team placed first in their tri-county competition and the Varsity team placed third in their regional tournament.  The hard work of both teams has led to an invitation to the National Academic Championships being held in Chicago on June 7-9. In an effort to raise funds for the upcoming trip, the Quiz Bowl Team is hosting a trivia night on Saturday May 24th at 7:00 in the HS Commons.  A $10 donation per person to participate is being requested.  The Quiz bowl team is looking to raise around $2500 For additional info, please email Jared Throneberry at jthroneberry@mcs.k12.mi.us. If anyone wishes to make a charitable donation to the quiz bowl team, checks can be mailed to the Manchester High School, 20500 Dutch Dr, Manchester, MI 48158 and can be made out to MHS Quiz Bowl.
