Summer Reading at the Library ends with celebration
Summer Reading at the Manchester District Library ended on July 25. Children (ages 12 and under) who completed their reading goal for at least four weeks were invited to a celebration party at 5pm. The library served pizza. There were drawings for prizes including a Kindle Fire, author-signed books, passes to swim at the Comfort Inn of Chelsea, passes to the Ann Arbor Hands-On Museum, a family membership to the Great Lakes Zoological Society, and others.
At 6pm, the Ann Arbor Hands-On Museum entertained kids in the Village Room for three hours of great science fun.
