Where: Front Lawn of Library, Manchester District LibraryDescription: Clayton Kessler, local amateur astronomer, presents the stars! We will meet on the front lawn where telescopes will be used to view Saturn, Mars, a galaxy and the moon. All ages are welcome.

Where: Manchester District LibraryDescription: Children can read to a therapy dog at the library. Not only is this fun, but it
increases a child’s confidence and reading skills. Please sign up by calling the Library at 428- 8045.
4:30pm Crab Races
Where: Freedom Township Hall, 11508 E Pleasant Lake Rd, Manchester, MI Description: (New location this year!) Free to get in. $10 per crab (take crab home if you want, complete crab kits available for sale. 15 races plus 3 final races. Cash prizes. Crab artwork by students on display. Food, pop & water available for purchase. BYOB. Tickets on sale at event. All proceeds benefit the Manchester Community Schools Foundation.5pm Swiss Steak Dinner
Where: Sharon United Methodist Church, corner of M-52 & Pleasant Lake Road
Description: $10 for adults and kids ages 13 & up, and $7 for kids ages 5 – 12 (4 & under are free) will get one trip through the line with generous portions and a ticket for dessert. There is a family rate as well, for 1 or 2 parents accompanied by their children 17 and under, there is a max charge of $30. Dinner consists of Swiss Steak, mashed potatoes, gravy, green beans, carrots, coleslaw, rolls & butter and for dessert peach cobbler with cool whip. Drinks include coffee, tea & chocolate milk. Although walk-ins are accepted, reservations are recommended. To reserve your dinner call Mildred Huehl at 475-3294 or call the church office at 428-0996 and leave a message on the answering machine.
