6:30 pm Presentation on Local Tourism
Where: Village Room, (lower level of library), 912 City Road, Manchester, MIDescription: Manchester is part of the Gateway Communities Initiative, often referred to as “The Big 400”, a regional eco-tourism program to bring visitors to our scenic wonders while also drawing them into Manchester’s downtown for shopping, dining, and events. Come and learn more about The Big 400, the tours we are developing, and what you too can enjoy on a nice afternoon! Examples include our Tour de BarnQuilts, Tour de Birds, historical walking tour, strange and unusual barns, working farm tours, Manchester’s role in the movie industry, and thrills of mills!

10am Boy Scouts Collecting Food for Family Services
Where: Manchester Market, West Main Street, Manchester, MIDescription: Every year Manchester Family Services relies on food donations collected by local cubs scouts. They will be braving the December weather collecting nonperishable food items, baking supplies, cleaning supplies and personal care donations at Manchester Market.
