Letter to the Editor

Dear Manchester Mirror Readers,

My name is Claire. I am from Manchester, Michigan. I am a third grader in Klager Elementary School. I think more people should do Manchester soccer. Read on to hear what I think. I am going to talk about Manchester soccer sign ups. All of my facts are from blogsportsignup.com. My democratic value is The Pursuit of Happiness. And why you ask? Because you need to have fun but follow directions where ever you are.

First, kids can make more friends. They can learn how to work in a team and get more knowledgeable about sports. Plus kids can exercise and have fun. Just imagine your kid or kids out in the greenest of green fields kicking that beautiful pearl and onyx ball and it starts to soar in slow motion right before your eyes.

Second, kids will come in touch with soccer inside and outside. While they are in Manchester they might go to restaurants like Frank’s Place, Ollie’s or even the Black Sheep or Stockwell’s.

Third soccer gets your body stronger. Parents can get jobs by being a coach. Also, kids will like to play a good sport. Did you know soccer players can run an average of six miles during every game?

In conclusion, more people will get fit and be healthy. They will be more knowledgeable to learn about sports and playing and how important it is to be helpful and how to work in a team.

Sincerely,
Claire Marsh
