Letter to the Editor: Family Grateful for Community Support After Tornado

Editor’s Note: As many may already know, the Diuble family’s home was one of the houses struck by the tornado last Monday night. Angela Diuble asked us to convey her thanks to the community for the support they’ve received this week

We are grateful for everyone’s help and offers of help in our time of need. The overwhelming support of our community means so much as we deal with this “hell on earth” aka the vortex. We are also grateful to Manchester Fire Dept., Washtenaw Sheriff Dept and Michigan State Police who were to our house minutes after the tornado and who have checked on us multiple times since.

I can’t imagine going through this alone and am indebted to our wonderful community once again!
