Special School Board Meeting TONIGHT

The School Board is holding a special meeting tonight at 7 pm in the Board Room in the Nellie Ackerson Building at 410 City Road to discuss the open position of Middle School Principal. At the regular School Board meeting in July, Superintendent Cherie Vannatter reported to the board that she had met with Klager Elementary principal Jennifer Mayes and Manchester High School Principal Kevin Mower and that they had drawn up a plan for covering the Middle School principal job between the three administrators for the coming school year. With the start of school less than a month away, the decision whether or not to hire a new principal needs to be made as soon as possible. This meeting is open to the public.
