The Manchester District Library would like to thank everyone who participated in this year’s Summer Reading Program. 150 youth readers signed up, with 70 reaching this year’s goal. 8 teens joined the program, with 4 finishing it. And 36 adults signed up, with 25 reading at least 4 books.
Many thanks to our generous sponsor, Dollar General, as well as to these business that graciously donated prizes or funds: Amcor, the Clinton Theatre, Clinton McDonalds, Comfort Inn, Dairy Queen, David Nelson Pottery, Franks Italian Restaurant, Iceni Tea, Jungle Java, Linda’s Diner, Manchester Fair, Manchester Pharmacy, Manchester Wellness Coalition, Marti’s Salon, McLennan’s Landscaping, Ollie’s Pizza, Putterz, and Tree House (Chelsea). Thanks also to Zeemo, the Yo-Yo Man, for providing the Summer Reading Program’s kickoff entertainment, the Critter Guy for stopping by with some of his critter friends, and the Ann Arbor Hands-On Museum for our Summer Reading Finale presentation.
