On Friday, October 9th at 7:30 pm, RED TAIL RING will be playing at The Blacksmith Shop at 324 E. Main Street. In addition to enjoying Red Tail Ring’s authentic, old-time music, you will be able to sample local food and beverages in the atmospheric and historical setting of Michigan’s last remaining intact and functional blacksmith shops.

The band may be familiar to some, as they performed as part of the Gazebo Concert series last June. Playing both traditional tunes and original compositions, the instrumental artistry of Michiganders Michael Beauchamp and Laurel Premo who make up Red Tail Ring, comes through in the “playful creativity and haunting harmonies” of the fiddle, guitar, banjo, mandolin, jawharp and plain-old foot stomping.

Adult tickets are $20. Tickets for children under 12 are $10. Tickets can be purchased at the door or ahead of time HERE. All money raised benefits local non-profit, Riverfolk Music and Arts.

The Red Tail Ring concert will be the first in this fall’s Blacksmith Shop Series. Future performers and dates include:

Nov 28th Sel de Terre
Jan 23rd CutTime Productions
Feb 27th The Sugar Snaps
March 26th 115 House Concert Guest Band
April 23rd 115 House Concert Guest Band
