Manchester’s famed caramel apple tradition, previously held at the Manchester Mill, will move to Wurster Park this Halloween from 5-7 p.m.

For decades, the Okey family delighted Manchester families with caramel apple treats each Halloween. More recently, this tradition has been passed on to the Manchester community and has become a full-scale community effort.

The Manchester Area Chamber of Commerce has officially sponsored the event at the Mill for the past few years. However, due to construction, the event has been moved this year to Wurster Park (the “gazebo park”) on Main Street.

Thanks to generous donations of apples from Manchester Market, and the many involved volunteers who have helped keep this tradition going, everyone who attends during regular trick-or-treat hours of 5-7 p.m. on Oct. 31 will receive a free caramel apple!

The Chamber looks forward to seeing you all there!
