Sarah Thompson Named Student of the Month

The Student of the month for November is Sarah Thompson. She is the daughter of Dave and Kim Thompson of Manchester and currently a senior at Manchester High School.

Sarah is a member of the National Honor Society, secretary of the Class of 2016, secretary of the local DECA organization and a member of FFA. Sarah has played on the varsity basketball and softball teams all four years while in high school. She was on JV volleyball her freshman year and has played on the varsity since her sophomore year. In addition to her school activities, Sarah volunteers her time during the summer at the Little Lady Dutch basketball and volleyball camps.

Sarah has been on the honor roll all four years, with a cumulative GPA of 4.161. Next fall she plans to attend Oberlin College to study Pre-Med.

Manchester Civic Club, in collaboration with the faculty and administration of Manchester High School, selects Student of the Month from applicants based on academic achievement, leadership/participation in extra-curricular activities, and all around service to the school and community.
