Sel de Terre to Perform at the Blacksmith Shop Thanksgiving Weekend (updated)

Update: Dance instructor Mark Stoltz will be providing a few dance lessons during the concert.

Manchester’s own Sel de Terre will perform on Saturday, November 28 from 8 to 9:30 pm at the Blacksmith Shop, located at 324 East Main Street. The traditional Cajun Band’s performance will feature driving two steps and beautiful waltzes – the music of the dancehalls and traditional house dances of Louisiana – all sung in Cajun French. A sampling of traditional Cajun food will be provided by Ann Arbor’s Quarter Bistro. This group is made up of Peter Lynch and Emily Slomovitz on twin fiddles, Steve Rohs on rhythm guitar & tee-fer (cajun triangle), Jacob Warren on the upright bass, and John Reiser on accordion and is a true blend of Cajun and Creole music.
