Fresh Donuts Frying at Frank’s in the Morning
Jessica Bushaw started making donuts early mornings in the kitchen of her family’s Italian Restaurant, Frank’s Place, on Nov. 22, 2014. She put out a hand written “fresh donuts” sign on the sidewalk and has never looked back. Last year she made 39,356 donuts, an average of 150 per day. Unlike donuts from many bakeries, every one sold at Frank’s in the Morning is hand rolled, hand cut and made fresh. Stop in at 104 East Main Street – open on Saturday and Sunday at 8 am and Tuesday through Friday at 7 am – and try one yourself!
