This Friday, April 22, on Earth Day, Klager Elementary School will be holding their annual Math and Science Night from 6 to 8 pm. As in past years, students, families, and members of the community are invited into the building to come explore and experiment with some hands on science. But adding to the fun this year will be Klager’s first Science Fair happening in the cafeteria alongside a display of Passion Projects, and in the library, the PTO will be holding a scholastic book fair with all sorts of children’s books for sale. It is FREE to attend.

Headlining this year is the Critter Guy who is bringing live animals including a boa constrictor, a skink, doves, a large turtle and more! In honor of Earth Day, the Community Garden Committee will be sending home a white pine seedling with every family. The Middle School 5th grade science class will be racing CO2 powered dragsters in the gym. The Manchester High School’s new robotics team will demonstrate their robot. There will also be a rocket launch, Lego models, therapy dogs, artificial joints. seed experiments, a Zumba class you can participate and more! Co-sponsored by the Klager PTO and the Manchester Wellness Coalition, Math and Science Night will be a fun evening for the whole family.
