United Producers to Host Cattle Show and Sale

United Producers Inc. (UPI), one of the largest farmer-owned livestock marketing cooperatives in the United States, will hold its 10th Annual Cattle Show and Sale at the Manchester facility on Oct. 29. This show highlights the commercial cattle industry.

Entries can be either a pen of five feeder cattle, market colored steers or heifers, finished Holstein steers or finished Jersey steers and are judged based on a desirable combination of muscling and finish. Banners will be awarded to the Champion and Reserve Champion in each category.

United Producers will receive cattle on Oct. 28, from 8 am – 5 pm, and starting at 8 am on Oct. 29. Cattle will be judged on Oct. 29, at noon and sold at 1 pm. Lunch will be served at noon.
