Whether it was perfect weather or the dedication of this year’s Community Garden gardeners, Ruth VanBogelen was happy to report that this summer the Manchester Community Garden produced well over 2000 lbs. of produce, and that was 1850 lbs. before the pumpkins and other winter squash were picked!

The Community Garden is located on Klager Elementary School Drive, across from the athletic fields, off of Dutch Drive. Plots range in size from 4’x4′ raised beds to 20’x20′ plowed plots which are rented, gardened, harvested and enjoyed for the season by families and individuals. Plots range in price from $10/ summer to $40/summer and are automatically watered on a schedule.

If you are interested in renting a plot , email dutchgardenpartner@gmail.com to get on the list for next summer!
