Obituary: Edward Haller
His Legacy… Haller, Edward Ernest, age 78 passed away October 29, 2016 at Chelsea Retirement Community. Ed was born on May 23, 1938 in Eastpointe, MI the son of Albert K. and Pauline (Bauhammer) Haller. He was employed with Kroger in the Deli Dept. until his retirement. Ed enjoyed spending his free time watching TV as well as observing people. He loved watching Western movies. Ed was a member of the Knights of Columbus and Kiwanis. He was on the board of St. Mary Roman Catholic Cemetery in Manchester.
His Family… Ed is survived by his cousins, Ruth Ann Curtis and Paula Curtis, first cousin, Guy (Anneliese) Little; three nephews, Chris, Mike, and David Haller; and a host of cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother: Albert A. Haller.
His Farewell… The Community Gathering for Ed was held on Wednesday, November 2, 2016 from 2-6 PM with a rosary at 5 PM at Borek Jennings Funeral Home, Legacy Event Center. A Funeral Mass was held Thursday, November 3, 2016 at 11 AM with a gathering beginning at 10 AM until the time of mass at St. Mary Roman Catholic Church. Interment at St. Mary Roman Catholic Cemetery. In honor of Ed, memorial donations may be shared with St. Louis School, Chelsea.
