Pre-vote and post-vote pray sanctuary to be open on Tuesday
On Tuesday, November 8, the sanctuary of Sharon United Methodist Church (UMC) will be open from 7 am to 7 pm, to those wanting to pray, seek peace and/or collect their thoughts before and after voting. A formal prayer service will be held from 12:15 to 1 pm. This service will be led by Pastor Harris of Sharon UMC and Pastor Aaron Kesson of Manchester UMC.
Rev. Peter Harris of Sharon UMC stated, “With so many voices warning of division and great distress, if you vote for this candidate or another, one positive action we can take is to seek God and ask for God’s blessing.”
The sanctuary building of Sharon UMC is located on the corner of M-52 and Pleasant Lake Road. For more information call 428-0996.
