Tickets are on sale for this season’s third Blacksmith Shop concert occurring on Saturday, November 26, 7:30pm, which will feature Creole du Nord. Event organizers describe Creole du Nord’s music as being able to be “traced to southwest Louisiana’s traditional music Zydeco, Cajun, Creole as well as traditional old-time music which suggest sounds rooted in pre-mass media Americana. This music usually keeps uneasy company with slicker stuff. Using fiddle, accordion, guitar, bass, and banjo-uke they bring authentic music for the good times …pour les bons temps.” The band is made up of Mark Palms on accordion, Randy Markey on guitar, Carol Palms on bass, Mike Zivsak on fiddle, rub board, and Pete Siers and Stuart Tucker on drums

Adult tickets cost $20, Senior tickets cost $18, and Student tickets cost $15. Food and Drink Samples included in ticket prices. Tickets online at Eventbrite. Questions? Email aileen@culturalartstrings.org.
